Semi-Regular post wondering if Congress can hold hearings on steroids in @MLB, and DOJ looking at TV contracts in football, why isn’t the @NBA forced to defend officiating? More and more relevant given the increasing prevalence of sports gambling. @CommonManKFAN@DanBarreiroKFAN
@Tallsdurf I have been banging the drum for years; if we can have Congressional hearings about steroids in baseball, we can have Congressional hearings about NBA officiating.
That’s especially true as more money flows via gambling!
.@WalterHudson clashes with Rep. Frost for deflecting to unrelated issue, playing a "condemnation game" in hearing focused on the fraud scandal in Minnesota.
Under Tim Walz’s watch, Minnesota’s fraud scandal exploded—feds now say it could hit $9 BILLION in stolen taxpayer cash, festering for years while local media buried it to avoid “racism” accusations. Walz’s ex-appointee runs the Star Tribune, which downplayed it as “stereotypes.” Accountability starts at the top!

Can someone pull the stats on the @Timberwolves record when the Senior Dancers perform? I honestly can’t remember a single victory they’ve been a part of.
SGA totals his FIFTH 50+ point game with OKC, tying Russell Westbrook for most in franchise history 🤯
Russell Westbrook: 5 games
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: 5 games
Kevin Durant: 4 games
Tim Walz wants you to forget his smug dig that rural Minnesota is made up of “mostly rocks and cows,” because it exposes who he really is: a spineless politician, completely out of touch with reality.
We deserve a leader who values all Minnesotans, not one who mocks us!
REALITY CHECK, @MaryMoriarty: Your refusal to prosecute guns, drugs & fugitives from “low-level” traffic stops frees criminals & endangers Hennepin County. This blatantly anti-cop policy makes our streets less safe.
Stop whining about my feedback & do your job!
Criminals have never had a better friend than Mary Moriarty.
Democrats tacitly endorse this with their silence & refusal to back mandatory minimums/mandatory sentencing for gun crimes.
@gavinhanson A kid named Garrett broke my collarbone in the 3rd grade and my 9th grade girlfriend cheated on me with a guy named Al. If I knew where either of them went to college I’d add them to the list, but since I don’t it’s just the two for bad fans.
Call me old fashioned, but my two favorite college football traditions are rooting against Wisconsin and rooting against Syracuse. One’s a bad team, the other has bad fans. Tears of defeat are just as sweet for both.
