@CanucksArmy Nothing even came close. Setting the VCR up to record Yulin with the Page every year. Also, the only sports show that would highlight local sports. I reached out to BMac after our Old Timers hockey team had won a tourney in Vegas in 2002 and he gave us a plug. Awesome!
@DhaliwalSports Very sad news. He was fantastic on Canucks broadcasts. I was looking forward to his hit on D&D yesterday when he didn’t show. Now we know why 🙁. Have some fries with extra ketchup in his honor today.
@DailyHiveVan@RobTheHockeyGuy Holy crap. Most of these replies are pretty shocking. How someone chooses to process grief is deeply personal. Why people feel they need to share their opinion on what they think is the norm, or spew innuendo on the reasoning, is beyond me. Have some compassion people. Be better
@DonnieandDhali@DhaliwalSports Why would you want to trade him. He’s one of the few guys who can score and has a bona fide pedigree. Need to play the long game here. The salary will age just fine in this new cap area.
@DonnieandDhali@DhaliwalSports You’re always better off without people who don’t want to be a part of your team. It’s not like he was Scotty Bowman. Decent coach but as soon as you get a hint that someone doesn’t want to be a part of your team it’s time for them to go.
@ThomasDrance Very sorry for your loss. I never knew your father, but from the obituary he was clearly a wonderful man. I’m glad you and your family had him in your lives for as long as you did.
@DonnieandDhali@DhaliwalSports@RJHenderson7 If Donnie’s eating strawberries that are the same colour as Trevor Lawrence’s hair, he’s calling in sick tomorrow! - Bobo from Victoria.
@jpaulrobertson Hi Paul. I was sorry to hear that you were leaving VGC, but hope you settle in and enjoy your new track. I didn’t know you were taking Hap though. Hopefully VGC will be able to replace you both with equally qualified candidates 🙂
@hjluks@Fit_For_Golf What a fantastic message. Thanks for posting. I’m 60 and training harder now, using Fit for Golf (thanks Mike), than I have in 30 years. This message is analogous to the old adage - you don’t stop playing because you get old, you get old because you stop playing.
@FieldGulls - You’re being way too kind to Woolen. He was dreadful. The dude does not seem to have any situational awareness at all. All the physical tools but brutal. The only play he made was a fingertip deflection on a pass that was behind the receiver.
@Fit_For_Golf This statement absolutely resonates - “The difference between what is possible at various decades of our life with vs without comprehensive training is immense.” Regardless of age, you never know what you’re capable of without putting in the work.
@NHLart@DhaliwalSports@DonnieandDhali Love the show. Listening to the podcast has been a part of my daily routine since the very first show with @sportsnetmurph as their very first guest. Now we wait until the show returns in September! Have a great summer guys.
