Star Trek: Lower Decks Lt. Shaxs full suit up. I’m pretty happy so far (aside from my terrible makeup application and this horrible scleral contact lens). Shaxs is BACK, baby!!!!! @MikeMcMahanTM and @FredTatasciore, what do you guys think?
@AaronKClark @MikeMcMahanTM@FredTatasciore@StarTrek@StarTrekOnPPlus Jacket is from eBay seller "besxiojin". The rest is put together from various sources (3d print of the badge and pips, boots are knockoff UGGs from Walmart, earring was put together from various magnetic earring parts, and the pants are a pair of joggers I already had.
@JulianB_315 @MikeMcMahanTM@FredTatasciore@StarTrek@StarTrekOnPPlus Those were some old joggers I had laying around. Ha! But any black joggers would work. Joggers would be best because they can be a little form-fitting and taper at the bottom.
@lunarennui @MikeMcMahanTM@FredTatasciore@StarTrek@StarTrekOnPPlus Ha ha! This is what I love about costuming. Sharing ideas. Yeah, I think an airbrush will deliver far less paint, so there’ll be less chance of cracking. I’ve been using leather paints to paint Batman cowls with great success.
@lunarennui @MikeMcMahanTM@FredTatasciore@StarTrek@StarTrekOnPPlus Ha ha! No, not yet. And I’m not happy with the current stripes (they are just grosgrain ribbon). I’m going to probably airbrush them with Angelus leather paint and I’ll do the soles then.
