@LXdoldge IMO the function of promo is to see if she has a wider audience for the class. Say more about dynamic, grabbing elements!

[Bob King @bobkingmedia]

@LXdodge Janna Levin wants to promo+distribute her science of cooking class. I said Facebook and Twitter pages. Yes? Other ideas?

[Bob King @bobkingmedia]

@LXdodge Yeah man. He moves from front burner to back burner, then back to the front. Always cookin'

[Bob King @bobkingmedia]

I think Otis College of Art and Design is onto a cool approach for helping teachers learn about new-media

So my project this year is to TEDify my teaching by bringing in lots of interesting guest speakers.

[Bob King @bobkingmedia]

@LXdodge Looks like a good copy! Sorry I been scarce. The summer session started, teaching two classes, hectic I'm tellin' ya

[Bob King @bobkingmedia]

@LXdodge I mean we've seen it is difficult to so if it's required some other approach?

[Bob King @bobkingmedia]

@LXdodge maybe find out what he has in mind and tell him we will support it?

[Bob King @bobkingmedia]

@klangfarben @mizuko Maybe...

[Bob King @bobkingmedia]

@klangfarben @mizuko Are you thinking in terms of geologic time? :) My real answer might be "when there is a compelling reason of some sort"

[Bob King @bobkingmedia]

Jus' for fun, a radio show on the drone-like sounds of everyday environments and common machines (like fridges) http://t.co/90D7mhpzBq

[Bob King @bobkingmedia]

I really like the sound and energy of the project ideas y'all

[Bob King @bobkingmedia]

@gilliambd Say more! Maybe let's say the classicists were the new-media folk of their day -- and they did after all invent the loop :)

[Bob King @bobkingmedia]

@JohnKMathis Some are on the list primarily because their work involves dissolving boundaries between art and life (a McLuhan principle)

[Bob King @bobkingmedia]

@LoriKusatzky Yes! Kind of like "forget everything I just said, then..."

[Bob King @bobkingmedia]

@_squarebush I read someone today, hmm forgot who it was, suggest spoken-word might make a cool project :)

[Bob King @bobkingmedia]

@LoriKusatzky @LXdodge Hey Lori, we're lookin' for the ingredients and also a description of an actual piece you would make using them

[Bob King @bobkingmedia]

@Alakaslasher A big part I hope

[Bob King @bobkingmedia]

@LoriKusatzky I think the world has become more individual, more social, and less homogenized. And I like all of those trends :)

[Bob King @bobkingmedia]

@Colin_Syrup @LXdodge Dang! I would try Googling for free video editors for windows --or get iMotion HD on your smart phone and experiment
