Post a picture of your favorite sign from today's protests.
I will go first.
I have no clue what city this was taken in, but it made me laugh.
How about you? Show me your favorite sign.
I said it at Delaney Hall, and I’ll say it again now after @SenAlexPadilla was handcuffed for doing his job: this Administration wants to intimidate us.
They want to silence us for standing up against their cruelty. We cannot let that happen. We won’t let that happen.
If that’s what they do to a United States Senator with a question, imagine what they can do to any American that dares to speak up. We will hold this administration accountable.
THANK YOU Jersey City and Hoboken. This is what democracy looks like! This is our win, for and by the people. We did it. We really did it. I am so proud to be your democratic nominee for Assembly along with @RaviBhalla. More to come! 📷 credit @JerseyCityTimes
Now is not the time to be silent.
The video footage of @SenAlexPadilla being forcibly removed and handcuffed at DHS Secretary Noem’s press conference in LA is disturbing and unacceptable.
What we’ve seen today continues the dangerous trend of this administration intimidating anyone who stands up and disagrees with them.
Deploying 700 Marines on U.S. soil against the will of local leaders and law enforcement is a dangerous abuse of power. Our military is a sacred trust meant to protect the American people, not be used by President Trump and Secretary Hegseth to strike fear into Americans. A strong and trusted United States military must remain apolitical. Trump’s escalation today not only weakens Americans’ trust in their own freedoms of speech and protest but trust in what our military stands for. —AK
