Don't be clever by half. Religions are man-made and every ethnicity create their own religion.
For a very long time, other ethnicities have been forced to practise other religions that are not historically theirs.
Christianity and Islam aren't Nigeria religions, it was forced upon us. Millions of your ancestors were killed just to accept these religions.
There is no way you could say Yorubas are historically Muslims, it is okay if you conform to being slaves to this foreign religion but what you won’t do is change the trajectory of history.
Isese is being practised in Brazil and other South American countries, I'm not talking about people who were enslaved there but local Brazilians who picked up the religion. You won't see these people saying they are isese first.
