I have farmed dozens of protocols waiting for institutions to show up, Canton is finally the network where they stand.

DEFI UNITED UPDATE
In the last 48 hours the movement crossed $300M in commitments, the long-awaited technical recovery plan was published, and Arbitrum could unlock $73M frozen from the hacker.
💸 The fund now totals +132K ETH.
Biggest recent moves:
• @Consensys and @ethereumJoseph : 30,000 ETH
• @circle Ventures is buying $AAVE on the open market to absorb sell pressure
• @trondao sent $20M in USDT to ease liquidity on @aave
• @avax Foundation also joined the effort
🗺️ The recovery plan (04/28):
1️⃣ Restore rsETH backing to the 1.07 ETH peg, committed ETH will be converted into rsETH and deposited directly into the affected bridge, making harmed users whole again.
2️⃣ Liquidate the attacker’s positions (~107K rsETH) on Aave and Compound using a temporary adjustment of the price oracle.
➡️ Estimated recovery: ~13,000 ETH from Aave and ~16,776 ETH from Compound.
⚖️ Key piece: @aave submitted a formal proposal asking the @arbitrum Security Council to release the 30,765 ETH (~$73M) frozen from the attacker and direct it to the DeFi United fund.
The proposal is backed by Kelp DAO, @LayerZero_Core, @ether_fi and @compoundfinance.
⚠️ Execution still depends on governance approvals (Mantle, EtherFi), and the plan acknowledges the risk of attacker interference during the liquidations.
But the largest coordinated rescue in DeFi history is on the move. If it passes, the Kelp DAO hole can be fully covered.
Stay tuned to the votes. This is DeFi truly uniting. 🤝
Hot pools last 24h 🔥
Rotation is kicking in.
SOSO/USDC on Base via @Uniswap pushing 6.1x vol/TVL with ~$2M volume and ~22% APY, clean, steady flow, not just a spike.
VIRTUAL/WETH via @aeroxyz is the higher beta play: 4.6x vol/TVL, $3.4M volume, 70%+ APY, with volatility driving fees. Early but less stable.
Meanwhile USDC/cbBTC and WETH/USDC still holding ~3.7–3.8x, more saturated, but consistent.
Capital rotating into new pairs.
Same meta: volume > emissions.

DeFi United: what’s actually happening 👇
After the $rsETH exploit (~69K ETH hole)
DeFi didn’t break, it coordinated , @aave + multiple protocols launched #DeFiUnited to recapitalize losses and prevent systemic contagion
So far
100K+ $ETH committed
Target ~116K ETH
~86% already covered
Who stepped in
@arbitrum@0xMantle@aave@LidoFinance@ether_fi + individuals
This isn’t just a bailout
it’s onchain coordination at scale
How it works
-Protocol treasuries deploy capital
-Funds flow into a public address
-Used to restore backing (rsETH) + stabilize markets
Everything is transparent

Anyone can contribute,DAOs, builders, users
Why this matters
DeFi just handled a 9-figure crisis without central banks, without bailouts, just aligned incentives and liquidity.
This is the real DeFi stress test
🚨 KELP DAO — $292M EXPLOIT | FULL BREAKDOWN 🧵
The largest DeFi hack of 2026 has arrived. Here is everything you need to know about the systemic impact and the contagion.
1. The Exploit: How it Happened
The attacker targeted the bridge reserve backing $rsETH across 20+ chains.
-The Method: The attacker spoofed a @LayerZero_Core cross-chain message via the lzReceive function on the EndpointV2 contract.
-The Result: This tricked Kelp’s bridge into releasing 116,500 rsETH (~18% of the total circulating supply) to an address pre-funded via Tornado Cash.
-Precision: This was a deliberate, highly planned operation.
2. The Timeline (UTC)
- 17:35: Drain executed.
- 18:21: @KelpDAO emergency multisig pauses all contracts (46 min response time).
- 18:26 & 18:28: Two follow-up attempts for $100M each both reverted due to the pause.
- 20:10: Kelp’s first public statement (nearly 3h after the initial drain).
Note: Without the emergency pause, total losses could have reached $391M.
The hack was first flagged publicly by @zachxbt.
3. The Contagion: Protocols Affected
The attacker used the stolen $rsETH as collateral to borrow assets, creating a massive bad debt wave.
🔴 @aave V3 + V4: rsETH markets frozen; attacker created $236M+ in bad debt. $AAVE price dropped 10–13%.
🔴 @compoundfinance V3 + @eulerfinance : Faced the same collateral exploit.
🟡 @LidoFinance earnETH: Deposits paused due to rsETH exposure.
🟡 @ethena : Paused its own LayerZero OFT bridges as a precaution.
🟡 @Spark Lend & @0xfluid : Froze rsETH markets (confirmed zero actual exposure).
4. Market Impact
- $AAVE: -10% to -13%
- $ETH: -3.1%
- $stETH/ $wstETH: -4%
- $rsETH: Trading near $2,500; peg is under extreme pressure on L2s.
5. The Big Picture
This is now the #1 DeFi exploit of 2026, overtaking the Drift hack ($285M).
What this exposes:
Cross-chain bridge risk is systemic. When a bridge holding reserves for 20+ networks gets drained, every wrapped version of that token becomes questionable simultaneously.
DeFi composability remains a double-edged sword.
Stay vigilant. 🛡️
preço do petróleo
câmbio euro/dólar
Preço final= cotação internacional+logística+
biocombustíveis + margens + ISP + IVA
Dependendo da semana, os impostos representam entre 45% e 55% do preço final, "pagas e não bufas"...
