@fitness19_mp@Fitness19Gyms I can't show up at their location because I moved out of the area or I would have already done so. The only option is to dispute the credit card charges. What a hassle.
@fitness19_mp@Fitness19Gyms As is so typical with gym memberships cancellation is purposely as difficult as possible. No difference with Fitness 19 Midland Park, NJ.
@PODS To anyone considering this service for a long distance move - DON'T. They have been unable to adhere to any schedule that THEY create, causing significant inconvenience and now additional hotel stay costs to me. Color me thoroughly unimpressed with their execution.
@PODS@PODS support and logistics was able to resolve the delivery issue and it arrived at the scheduled time. My thanks to the all the people involved with making this happen. I would mention them by name but not sure that is acceptable.
Now the late pickup is pushing my delivery date out 4 days. Which means an extra four days in a hotel while I wait for delivery. No recompense for that?
@Etsy It seems that the link you supplied requires a login, which is exactly the problem I've been having. Of course when I try to log in now it breezed right through. Interesting that it's fixed after three days once I made a public post. 🤔
@Etsy, I've been having trouble logging in to make a purchase and your support staff keeps telling me to change my password which does not correct the problem. Now they don't respond at all. Seems very low effort on the part of your support team. Please advise.
The jobs of the patriarch that often go unnoticed beyond just “making money”:
- financial planning for the family in case he gets sick or dies
- making sure the family lives in a safe area with access to high quality schools and healthcare
- making sure the family has a good car and that it is well maintained
- family paperwork for healthcare, taxes, and a thousand other administrative chores
- managing and planning any trips the family takes including saving up for them
- managing the family’s investments
- being the disciplinarian and captain of the family making sure the wife doesn’t overwork herself, the kids respect her and that everyone in the family is headed in the right direction
- fixing anything that gets broken
People think that doing dishes and laundry is all there is to running a home and family, but there is so much more.
