I am very happy that the Sudanese are unanimously agreeing to support their leader, General Abdulfattah Alburhan. It wasn't a decision that was easy. Sudan is one of the most politically conscious countries in Africa. The Sudanese are not illiterates, they are educated and enlightened to the point that overeducation is worrying them.

Ordinary things that we in Nigeria will look away at in Nigeria from our leaders will receive great scrutiny in Sudan. Sudanese Universities led the forefront in removal of many leaders to show you that the people who led protests were educated and literate.

However, the catastrophic mistake was allowing illiterates like Hemedti, the leader of the RAF Janjaweed Militia to get authority in Sudan, He is originally a Chadian, with roots in Darfur, and was in the capitol of Khartoum. His forces briefly occupied Khartoum, in what should have been a test for their mode of leadership, since the whole country was frustrated with the Islamists and what they represented.

Instead, they turned out to be worse, as they said, the devil you know, is far better than the saint you don't know. His Militia raped women repeatedly, took others as slaves, looted markets and gold shops, stole phones and broke banks. In unprecedented events that have never been seen in Sudanese history.

What is even more painful was part of the educated elite whom were supposed to be the forefront in condemning these attacks and calling international community's attention to it, were at the forefront of giving political backing to the Militia, extremely educated and intelligent people like Khalid Omer Yousuf and PM Abdullah Hamdouk, a generation of extremely intelligent and Western exposed individuals that could have carried the flag of what the said revolution truly represented but they failed woefully....

The UAE, whom erstwhile was also seen as a shining beacon in the region become a bloodthirsty hydra, I never expected that the UAE will continue supporting the RSF Militia with the unspeakable atrocities it was committing.

Many might not like Burhan, but the alternative to Burhan is death, destruction, displacement, racism and marginalisation. So, I feel the choice is pretty straight forward.

Meanwhile, the #Chadians went to UN condemning Sudanese for conducting strikes on their land, #Chadians are notorious for supporting the RSF.

#Ethiopia too seems to be warming up, with Tigray Forces pounding tjr Ethiopian Forces, I wished the Nobel Peace Winner stayed out of crisis, but no, he refused and had to intervene, and now, the thrift collector is here to collect his money.
