Being negative is self fulfilling, so don't be surprised if you get your wish, or if others are involved, don't blame them if they leave you out of their plans.
@dave43law Yep, strongly on one side until you tell 'em there's
no rebates/no opt out/Pound sterling gone plus we'd have to join Schengen, the Pact on Asylum & Migration (i.e. more migrants) & join Pact on Stability & growth but UK deficit at 4.5% way over 3% target meaning more austerity!
@Suewilson91 Wonder how many of that 87% have looked at Article 49 i.e. are aware of the accession rules we would have to comply with? Very few I suspect in which case they are making a decision without any underatanding of what it will mean for the UK
@ZackPolanski How about the politicians who have failed to deal with migration noting 66% of the electorate believe numbers coming to the UK are too high (Ipsos Feb 2026) Should they not hang their heads in shame since these problems would not exist had they dealt with the problem.
@EqtNet@KirstiMiller30@NadiaWhittomeMP so how would you feel about female bathrooms/changing rooms/toilets being solely for biological women, with all mens facilities made Unisex since men are far less likely to be concerned if a trans person uses their facilities
@KirstiMiller30@NadiaWhittomeMP We need to adopt a common sense approach and introduce regulations that require provision of female bathrooms/changing rooms/toilets for biological women only and make all mens facilities Unisex since men are far less likely to be concerned if a trans person uses their facilities
@hilarybennmp Indeed there is no justification for violence but I guess the question many will ask is, would it have happened, if Government acted on the concerns of the people. I suspect not.
@PhilMyers53@Keir_Starmer You're obviously not a lone voice - just one of the few who do seem to believe a man most of the public despise and who was, of course, elected by just 20% of the electorate
@Vetinari3@51TJK Now show us pre referendum forecasts adjusted to reflect, global reality of Ukraine/Covid & comparative outcomes of competitors so we can assess such clwims
@51TJK So presumably you haven't looked at poll where people were asked if they'd rejoin if we didn't get rebates/optouts we'd had previously, & were required to join Schengen (FoM) adopt Euro/lose monetary control etc. When people understood that, only 36% wanted to rejoin.
@rocknroller912@RichardJMurphy Wasn't one hospital applauded by the media recently for eliminating corridor care? Same issue I suspect - they found a competent administrator who identified the cause of the problem, developed/implemented a plan, and watched as corridor care disappeared.
@RichardJMurphy Long waits? We've all waited in supermarket queues where the cashier we chose was slow/wasted time chatting etc while a much longer queue a few isles down disappeared in no time with a cashier who focused on the job. So, long waits? Or poor systems, poor staff, poor admin?
@GrnElects If you're gonna measure by demographic, at least look at those who vote rather than those who don't! 90+% of the 12 million over 65's vote i.e. nearly 11 million votes. Its expected half of the 4 Million 16-21yr olds might vote - 2 million i.e. 1 million for you.
@AndrewHWestern Unemployment Rate June 2024 4.2% - now 5%
Youth Unemployment June 2024 12% now 14.7%
Q1 GDP growth being lauded yet UK Q1 is widely recognised as a technical glitch. Rest of year is what matters & indicatoirs aren't good
@Alanwedgemaster@Heccles94 Harry telling us he knows nothing about economics/finance/business without saying he doesn't understand economics/finance/business
@MarieTidball I'd rather celebrate ten million kids having family breakfast with their mum. Do something to support that instead if trying
To diminish the importance if motherhood
