@Lachtoday @julianahatfield Electric Eel Shock were arguably the 1st independent band to create a career on crowd funding. (2004 Crowd funded album way before kickstarter (but after Marilloon's Marbles). Do they get credit??
Mind you all Independent bands were derided as unsigned pre Radiohead Rainbows...
