@redwings924@johnscharrett@AnsarKhanMLive@griffinshockey I’ve been one of Compher’s harshest critics, but he has really stepped up with all the injuries. He’s doing a solid job on the first line and Copp looked good centering DeBrincat and Kane. I figure if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
@Berger_BYTES I don’t think either Hunter has any interest in the Leafs. The team had its chance to hire Mark as GM and opted for Dubas. Dale did a year in Washington and decided to return to London. Both are in their 60’s and have been presiding over a gold mine since 2000.
@stripermagnet51@NHLRumourReport A rental with three years left on his contract? That’s the reason not to trade for a 35 year old centre in decline. Weegar is 32 with five years left. If Calgary wants to unload those two contracts, I don’t think Detroit’s the right destination.
@nut7953@SeiderG65609@DetroitRedWings Do the names DeBrincat and Gibson ring a bell. When the time is right, he makes his moves. Now it’s time to beef up the blueline and I have no doubt he will. Chiarot at $3.8m under this much higher cap will make for a perfect third pair D who can mentor the kids.
@Rainytuesday3@Archaeologuy I’m super chill. I just hate seeing hall of famers’ names misspelled and Fedorov’s has been near the top of the list since he was a rookie in 1990.
@GerryPg1750@DetroitRedWings I saw games at the Olympia as a kid and when the JLA first opened, fans said it would never have the atmosphere of the old rink. Of course, 40 years later, we know how fans rightly felt about the Joe. The same will happen with success at LCA. All good.
@CHMTL1@PierreVLeBrun@Canucks@mnwild@NJDevils Neither DET nor NJ had a prospect at the level of Zeev Buium. Give him a season or two and you might think differently about the deal… not to mention Rossi, the first rounder and the 20-year old Swedish winger. Actually a very good return for a guy who wasn’t staying.
