Danny Ventura, the face of high school sports in New England for over the last 30 years, is retiring from the Boston Herald in August.
Ventura started at the Herald in 1991 and has since served as the go-to source for information for coaches, student-athletes, and ADs.
demand imaging that ultimately saved her life. If you have family history coupled with dense breast tissue (which you’re required by law to receive a letter regarding), PLEASE request additional testing. It could save your life! (Oh, and my wife is THE toughest person I know!❤️)
Love Baylor Scheierman's game, but he definitely does have to improve his 1-on-1 defense. Celtics coaches have helped Sam Hauser make major strides in that area. Would imagine Hauser will guide Scheierman.
Hailey Flynn: “I got a perfect pass from Lyla and I was able to catch and shoot. Our team fought so hard throughout the whole game, and it was great to help contribute at the end. It was great to see the ball go through the net and pull out the win in the season opener.”
I am thrilled to announce that after graduation in May I will be moving to Indianapolis! I have accepted a year long postgraduate internship position as the D1 Women’s Basketball intern. Looking forward to continuing to help grow this game and be a part of the NCAA!
Lilah is having a fantastic spring so far against high level competition and has become an absolute menace on the defensive end of the floor. #MTEDFamily

The word on the back of our practice jerseys is “consistency”. We had to be just that to do what we did so far. Really proud of this group and grateful to our seniors for leading us here!
