Talking mostly about #GTFC🐟

[Bobby @bobthemariner]

The fact we had to push Turi to play the full 90 after playing in Kazakhstan on Tuesday is just a damning indictment of how poor this squad is looking #GTFC

[Bobby @bobthemariner]

@gtfc_maff Yeah you was pretty much spot on. Wonder if we will see this more in the future

[Bobby @bobthemariner]

@gtfc_maff You was bang on it looks like

[Bobby @bobthemariner]

@gtfc_maff I would like to see the team line up like the one in the image though

[Bobby @bobthemariner]

@gtfc_maff Yeah it could be him as well. I just think he’ll want to keep tactically familiarity for the squad players, as well so if they’re needed they’ve played the system before

[Bobby @bobthemariner]

@gtfc_maff I have a feeling he will play Pruti at LB and Staunton as a DM, but I could be way off it

[Bobby @bobthemariner]

Good to see a couple of the academy lads on the bench tonight. Here’s a little bit about them, for anyone interested #GTFC

[Bobby @bobthemariner]

@frank_wood76 He has had a slow start, but I personally think he has bounced back well over the past two games after the horror show that was Cheltenham. He just seems to need to get that first goal off his back, and I think more will flow

[Bobby @bobthemariner]

Think it goes to show how good of a lad Turi is. He could easily have drawn the contract talks out until near the end of the season to try and chase the highest offer, given how well he is playing #GTFC

[Grimsby Town F.C. @officialgtfc]

✍️ Géza Dávid Turi has signed a new two-year contract with the Mariners!

The midfielder is now committed to the Club until summer 2028, with an option to extend for a further year.

WHAT A HIT SON, WHAT A HIT! 👏

[Bobby @bobthemariner]

@DN33_Exiles @officialgtfc I doubt he is being hooked in a pointless game of football. Artell said he has come back from a really bad injury, so I would suspect his fitness is atrocious

[Bobby @bobthemariner]

Really hoping Harvey Cartwright is back soon and able to hold down the number one spot, with the possibility of being able to join us permanently in the summer. There’s nothing better than having a local lad in the team doing well #GTFC

[Bobby @bobthemariner]

@MikeyMcMahon Makes me think Cartwright is possibly out for way longer than what’s being said, or Pym was possibly going somewhere because it wouldn’t make sense to have all three.

[Bobby @bobthemariner]

@buckley_gresham I wouldn't mind Reynolds starting but I thought Morgan looked very lively on the left vs Accrington

[Bobby @bobthemariner]

Really can't afford a start like today against Bristol Rovers next week, especially with how good defensively they look. Cartwright and Shelton come straight into the lineup for me, with Morgan on the left and Cook up top #GTFC

[Bobby @bobthemariner]

@Cal348193499872 not really sure tbh mate, the sooner the better though

[Bobby @bobthemariner]

I wonder if we might look at Max Thompson on a short term deal. If I remember correctly, he was rumoured to be training with us at some point this summer? #GTFC
