🚨 AMERICA, WAKE THE HELL UP. 🚨
The United States Senate just looked every single one of you dead in the eye… and spat in your face.
We had ONE shot.
ONE golden, once-in-a-lifetime chance to start reconciliation, supercharge our military, and FORCE the SAVE America Act through so the left can NEVER steal another election.
And what did the Senate do?
They FOLDED.
They QUIT.
They threw it all away like America meant NOTHING.
While our enemies circle like vultures and our troops are left begging for strength… these cowards decided their little summer recess was more important than the survival of this country.
This isn’t politics.
This is SURRENDER.
This is betrayal.
This is the sound of the Republic being sold out in broad daylight.
History is watching.
It will remember the ones who stood up…
and the ones who RAN.
The American people are DONE with this gutless theater.
We deserve warriors, not vacationers.
RT if you’re sick of watching Republicans snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Comment “FIRE THEM” if you’re ready to make them pay in November.
This is the moment.
Don’t look away.
Oakland A's pitcher Rollie Fingers fakes an intentional walk to strike out Cincinnati Reds catcher Johnny Bench during Game 3 of the 1972 World Series! Happy 80th Birthday Rollie! #MLB#Baseball#History#Athletics
We don't need to pay a school superintendent a half a million dollars per year.
We don't need a $100,000,000 high school athletic facility.
We need property tax relief.
We’ve had a Republican led Senate for almost 2 years.
- 0 recess appointments.
- 0 election laws.
- $40,000,000 weekly to the Taliban.
Our @SenateGOP has been a huge disappointment. They suck.
#OTD 1981 - The Garry Templeton incident.
In the bottom of the first inning, Templeton swung at strike three, but failed to run to first after Giants catcher Milt May dropped the ball. The fans booed his lack of effort, and Templeton responded with a middle finger.
When he came to play the field in the second and third innings, the fans continued to boo and accordingly to Templeton called him racial slurs.
In the third inning, Templeton responded to the increasing louder boos by grabbing his crotch, and was promptly ejected by home-plate umpire Bruce Froemming.
This caused Whitey Herzog to race out of the dugout and retrieve his shortstop.
Templeton and Herzog then got into a shoving match as they entered the dugout, and had to be separated by teammates and coaches.
Templeton was fined $5,000 by Herzog and suspended without pay for three weeks.
The Cardinals agreed to lift the suspension if Templeton would agree to have a psychiatric evaluation.
Two days after the suspension was lifted, Templeton checked himself into a hospital and was diagnosed with depression. He was given medication and agreed to continue treatment.
Templeton held a press conference and apologized to the team and the fans and was reinstated into the lineup on September 15 - but the damage was done.
He would be traded to the Padres for Ozzie Smith in December.

🚨🚨 BREAKING: Dr. Oz just DROPPED A BOMBSHELL that should terrify every American 🚨🚨
If we wipe out 100% of the FRAUD in Medicare…
the Trust Fund doesn’t just survive…
IT DOUBLES ITS LIFESPAN.
Let that sink in.
In JUST the past year alone, they already crushed $42 BILLION in fraud —
not by chasing it after the fact…
but by NEVER LETTING THE MONEY OUT THE DOOR. 🔥
Dr. Oz didn’t hold back:
“The fraud doesn’t just steal money.
IT STEALS OUR TRUST.
We have states that refuse to work with us!”
And the kicker:
“The Medicare Trust Fund will last TWICE as long if we simply take the fraud out of Medicare.”
This isn’t reform.
This is a war for the future of every senior in America.
Will the system be saved…
or will the thieves keep winning?
The clock is ticking. ⏳
Since 2020, @ChiPubSchools has lost 24,000 students.
Nevertheless, they hired 8,250 more staff and grew their budget by a remarkable $2.4 billion.
Now Illinois taxpayers are footing the bill for their record-breaking $10.11 billions budget, while only 27% of grade-school kids can do math at grade level.
Consider the additional fact that over 40% of CPS teachers missed 10+ days of school last year, and it becomes painfully clear that CPS leadership is running a highly political jobs program for under-achieving adults, and not an education service for children.

🚨BREAKING: Minnesota Democrats vote to KEEP dead people on the voter rolls
“They rejected the amendment that would force removal of deceased voters.”
DEMOCRACY DIES WHEN DEAD PEOPLE STAY REGISTERED
Why fight this hard to leave corpses on the voter rolls?
Illinois has the highest debt ratio in America at 276%.
$220 billion in debt against only $80 billion in assets. It couldn’t pay it off even if it sold everything it owns.
Chicago is even worse. The city hit 7 out of 8 red flags, carrying $77 billion in debt against $49.8 billion in assets while overspending by $580 million. CPS sits on more than $93,000 in debt per student, and Cook County piles on another 269% debt ratio.
Residents get hit from every direction, while Pritzker keeps calling his budgets “balanced.”
This is what “fiscal responsibility” looks like in Illinois.
Does anyone remember this amazing story? On July 2, 1982, a truck driver from California flew 16,000 feet into the sky in a lawn chair. Larry Walters, 33, from San Pedro, had dreamed of flying his whole life. He bought 42 eight-foot helium weather balloons, tied them to a regular Sears lawn chair, strapped on a parachute, packed a BB gun to pop balloons to descend, a CB radio, sandwiches, and a six-pack of beer.
He expected to float a few hundred feet above his backyard. He cut the rope and shot up like a rocket — to 16,000 feet. He drifted directly into the main approach path for LAX. Two airline pilots radioed the tower: they had just passed a man in a lawn chair holding a gun at 16,000 feet. For 45 minutes, he floated over Los Angeles, freezing cold, too scared to shoot balloons because he might fall. Finally, he started popping balloons one by one and slowly descended.
He landed tangled in power lines in Long Beach, California, causing a blackout. When police arrested him, they asked why he did it. He said, "A man can't just sit around." The FAA fined him $4,000. He became a national folk hero — Lawnchair Larry — and inspired the movie Up.
#OTD 2023 - Andy Rincon died at the age of 64.
A September call-up in 1980, he started four games, going 3–1 with a 2.61 ERA.
This earned him another brief look the next year, when he had a similar 3–1 record, this time with a 1.77 ERA in five starts - but he was hit in his pitching arm by a line drive by Phil Garner, thus hampering his career.
He would struggle in 1982, then be send to minors and never pitch for the Cardinals again.

In 1963, the entire All-Star game infield starters were players from the St Louis Cardinals.
It was the first time in history that all infield starters were from the same team.
