@KatieJWhite I note that you are to be given a chance to vote on scrapping pensioners' winter fuel allowance. I am a constituent of yours and will not forget how you vote. There are many other fairer ways to raise money (e.g., windfall taxes on the energy companies) as you well know.

Specifically asked if she her position on closer ties with Europe and if she was prepared to put people before party. Response obviously untrue and clearly a future ministerial job trumps conscience.

@RestIsPolitics @RoryStewartUK @campbellclaret And 2. HRT pension tax relief. Major for middle income earners. Irrelevant for millionaires. A cap linked to a pension provision of say average earnings much more progressive. Should all tax decisions be tested via a prism of progressiveness.

£300 WFA has the biggest impact on the people just above the Pension Credit limit. Little impact on people with pensions of £100k a year. Cap on social care has a huge impact on an estate of £150k and very little on an estate of £150m.Grubbily regressive.
