I didn’t think The Odyssey was THAT woke except for the part about 45 minutes in where Elizabeth Warren shows up to give a 90 minute lecture about neopronouns.
You see, my issue isn’t the players but the edit and how producers portray them.
- Tiffany could’ve had an underdog-like contender edit similar to Wentworth’s in Cambodia specially since she made finale, but instead there’s no suspense at because she was purpled all season (1/3)
Who even needs elections anymore? Let's just decide the House by non-stop competing district re-draws.
This is totally what The Founders had in mind. Thank you for upholding the constitution, SCOTUS!
The biggest problem is how insanely unbalanced this is.
If you win, and you put a name in the urn, that player still gets to vote and can still play their shot in the dark. You’re also voting without consulting with your alliance in a way that could deeply piss someone off at camp when they find out what you’ve done. And at 11 people isn’t enough to have a decisive impact.
Conversely if you lose, you lose your vote, your shot in the dark and have to announce to everyone that you’re a ripe target.
Winning is marginally good, potentially bad.
Losing is disastrous.
Needless to say, there’s no way Virginia’s redistricting referendum would’ve passed if Trump didn’t fire the opening salvo in Texas.
In fact, Dems are now projected to HANDILY win the mid-decade redistricting fight this cycle.
Play with fire, don’t cry if you get burned.
Your party just stole 9 Congressional seats. The only way to restore fairness is for us to claw 9 back.
If you hate gerrymandering so much, why don't you tell your party to stop blocking a vote on the Redistricting Reform Act?
Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day
In 1900, Jews were the second most common religion in Europe. 2/3rds of them were murdered.
I will never be able to visit my ancestral hometown, because every citizen there was killed.
Never again. We can never let anti semitism seep back in.
