Energy doesn’t come from caffeine.
It comes from how well your body is supported to function.
In TCM, we don’t just boost energy—we restore the system behind it.
Feeling tired all the time? 💤
These 5 habits might be draining your energy—without you even realizing it 🧵
(And what I do instead, as a doctor of Chinese medicine 👇)
Shallow or chest breathing
Stress keeps us stuck in the chest—leaving Qi stuck too.
This leads to mental fog, fatigue, and low oxygen.
✅ Breathe into your belly. Inhale slow, exhale longer. Feel your body soften.
These daily habits help me stay clear, calm, and energized—while holding space for others to heal.
None of them are extreme.
All of them are intentional.
Rooted in both ancient wisdom and modern science.
My personal health stack for hormone balance, mental clarity & steady energy—as a doctor of Chinese medicine 🧵
Here’s what I do daily to feel grounded, focused, and resilient—and how it ties back to Chinese Medicine:
Time in stillness
In TCM, emotions are stored in the organs. Stillness gives the Heart time to settle, the Liver time to process, and the mind time to return to the present.
This is medicine for the Shen—and one of the most important things I do.
MYTH 7: “It’s not backed by science.”
There are thousands of studies on acupuncture—from Harvard, Mayo Clinic, Stanford, and more.
It’s even recommended by the World Health Organization for over 100 conditions.
MYTH 6: “You’ll be on acupuncture forever.”
Not true.
Our goal is to get your body working better on its own.
You don’t have to keep going, but if you do, you’ll likely live a healthier, more balanced life.
