@DellCares I'm 6 days into a chat with your tech team, who insists no USB hub, not even @Dell USB hubs are compatible with my XPS 13.
Meanwhile, the Dell sales team assures me they are fully compatible. Can you please ask them to talk to each other? I'll buy 1 if I get support.

After 4 days of blaming the 3 different USB hubs I'm testing I offered to buy a Dell hub for my new XPS 13 and tech support says "I doubt if any USB hub will be compatible". I buy @Dell because they just work, and when they don't the service has been great. This is nonsense.
D:"I am sure there is no hardware issue with the laptop USB port. This must be an issue with the compatibility"
M:"It sounds like you are still saying a Dell USB hub won't work."
