@BigRedCeltTT I think we all know Republican's deeply held belief in "States Rights" evaporates the moment they take control of the Federal government. Just like how the deficit is somehow no longer a problem whenever a Republican president is in office.
@RetroToshi We are all going to miss physical media when it's gone.
Gaming will go the way of movies where you never 'own' any of it but just rent it forever on a steaming service.
@theWellRedMage I was a child and some of those old Nintendo games were hard as hell. Add to that that save files and checkpoints for your progress weren't common. There is a reason for the Konami Code.
So yes, please give me 99 lives so I can finally beat this game.
@ultragayfag @IdiotOfTheEast It's reeks of 'alpha male' grifting. Moderation is one thing and denying things for spiritual or religious beliefs are a other.
However NNN is just harmful internet culture bullshit like eating Tide Pods or The Cinnamon Challenge and shouldn't be taken seriously by anyone.
@Sonic_Hedgeblog The Aqua Shield for breathing underwater but if I'm not dealing with a water stage then I'll go with the Flame Shield for the Fireball Spin Dash and fire immunity.
@GamewithDave I've never owned a PS1.
My older brother owned one and we shared it. I had my own games and save files. He took it with him when he moved out. The PS2 had just dropped at same time and I got a PS2 as an 18th birthday gift. I do think about buying an original PS1 sometimes.
@LoveRetroBTW I remember you could edit the size and weight of your players. The slender player could skate faster and the bigger guys and push thinner guys around. I once made a team full of big chunky hockey players and bum rushed my brother's default team like it was a football game.
@ObsoleteSony Saiyuki: Journey West is a SRPG with colorful sprites and expressive character portraits.
The combat is normal SPRG grid based like Ogre Battle or FF Tactics but it has a cool transforming power up you can use in battle. There are several hidden characters and side quests.
@KrystalWolfyAlt I guess you just had to be there for it when Morrowind was new.
It has a charm that some of the other Elder Scrolls games lack. There were reasons why some people though Oblivion with the lesser game when compared to Morrowind.
