I had money to get a new boot to augment my old ones.
Realized my mom needed money for something important.
Sent 60% of the boot money to her.
Can’t buy the boot anymore.
Played a day mini-tournament and one of my old boots opened during a group stage game.
Borrowed @agoghenenathan5 boot to play the next game.
My teammate: @7Agbaye saw what happened and said he had a new pair of boots in his car that I should check it after the game to see if it fits.
Stepped out of the field during the interval to sow my old boot before the next game.
Completed the tournament with it.
Tournament ended, I and @7Agbaye forgot about the boot he asked me to check out.
5 days later, A standard game; @7Agbaye reminded me (not that I forgot this time but you know lol) about the boots.
Went to his car.
Was handed a new boot.
It fits perfectly.
Played with it immediately.
2 goals; 1 Assist; Brilliant display; MOTM.

Dear Pilgrim,
As the weekend approaches and a new month beckons, may the Word of the Lord to us, in Revelation 16:15, guide and encourage our hearts:
“Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed (happy, extremely fortunate, favoured) is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.”
Live prepared. Stay prepared. Let your garments always be white. Be wary of the defilement and corruption of Babylon. Eschew evil. Fight the good fight. Run the race. Ensure you finish your course. There is a crown prepared for you.
For the sufferings of this present time are nothing compared to the glory that will be revealed in us at the end of the age. This present world is a dress rehearsal for the real act that begins when we die.
Watch. Pray. Stay pure. Keep the faith.
Regardless of the contentions around you, always remember that you're not alone.
May Jesus encourage and strengthen you as you journey on the narrow way!
May they that read, understand!
If you want a child to be good at math, don't give them more advanced topics, take them back to the simpler topics and let them practise and study those topics till they are perfect in them. Then slowly move up.
Most kids struggle with math because they missed some basics.
Right after my SS3 graduation, I fell so ill.
I had this cough (could have been Bacterial Pneumonia) that resisted every form of antibiotic treatment, and I kept producing so much sputum that could partially fill a bucket in a single day.
At a point, my parents thought I wouldn’t make it.
I fondly remember one night when I was home with my dad. I could hear him praying in tears so loudly that night, asking God to protect me, his only son. I had lost so much weight. My Dad is someone who never shows fear. That was the first time I ever saw him afraid.
This lasted for over 6 months. It was so bad I was even screened and tested for TB. Turns out it wasn’t TB.
As God would have it, slowly I made recovery. Until one day I just stopped coughing.
The next year I would travel to one of the coldest countries in the world to study Medicine. My parents were scared that it might resurface. It never did. Never even coughed once in a city with -25 degrees in winter for seven years.
That year was the last time I ever remember having cough or any respiratory tract infection.
This year makes it 20 years since it happened. God healed me, and healed me completely. As I am a man of science, that experience made me a man of faith too.
