People talk constantly about this generation, but far fewer people actually sit down and listen to them. Solomon offers a firsthand perspective on what young people his age are thinking, feeling, fearing, and hoping for. We discuss why so many in Gen Z struggle with anxiety, pessimism about the future, depression, apathy, and a lack of motivation or excitement about life. Why do so many young adults seem hesitant about marriage, children, homeownership, and other milestones previous generations looked forward to? What makes the future feel so uncertain to them—and where can genuine hope be found?

Baptist Press featuring an article on the Slavic presence growth in SBC. Praise The Lord!
“More than simply hosting a fellowship gathering, the purpose was to strengthen relationships, introduce pastors to the ministries and resources of the SBC, and encourage greater participation in church planting, missions, leadership development, and theological education,” Kipko said.
He called the pastors to look for ways to partner with the International Mission Board and North American Mission Board.

In this inaugural episode of One More Thought, I explain why I created this segment and how it serves as supplemental teaching to my Sunday sermons at Forward Church. I unpack Psalm 90, written by Moses, and focus on the powerful prayer: “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” Drawing from Moses’ four distinct seasons of life, I challenge us to take inventory not just of our stuff, but of how we are actually living. I reflect on what it means for God to be our true dwelling place, our home, rather than our circumstances, success, or security. As we begin 2026, I invite you to pray Psalm 90 over your life and trust not in a new year, but in the One who makes all things new.
One More Thought exists because when I prepare sermons, I always end up with far more insight, theology, illustrations, and connections than I can share on a Sunday morning. Rather than letting those thoughts stay in my notes, this podcast gives me space to offer the “extra gold," the reflections that deepen your understanding and help you live out the message during the week. It’s not meant to replace the sermon, but to supplement it. Sometimes it will expand on the weekend message, and other times it will explore a related spiritual theme or pastoral reflection. The goal is simple: to help you think more deeply about God, Scripture, and your life, one more thought at a time.
I hope you enjoy the first episode!

@elonmusk I was at Charlie Kirk’s memorial and saw you there. Thank you for standing for truth in this cultural moment. I pastor a conservative Christian church in Irvine, CA. Would you donate $20M so we can buy a permanent building to impact thousands and train church planters?
@AshFarms If you’re in SoCal, you’re welcome to come to our church Forward Church Irvine. Here is all the info: https://t.co/Fcr5YDLtF9. We have Sunday Service every Sunday at 11am!
@AshFarms I highly recommend finding and going to a Southern Baptist Church. There is about 50k of them in the US so you’ll have no trouble finding one close to you. Check out this directory where you can put in your zipcode. https://t.co/RIBCWxeaTt
A word about the Ten Year Anniversary Service From Pastor Bogdan Kipko
Friends, please join us for this celebratory occasion on Sunday October 12th, beginning at 11am, at the Forward Church Irvine campus, as we gather together to give God glory for a decade of grace.
The verse that we have chosen to commemorate this special occasion is: 1 Samuel 7:12 12 Afterward, Samuel took a stone and set it upright between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, explaining, “The Lord has helped us to this point.” In Hebrew, the word “Ebenezer” is a compound word: "Eben" means stone, and "Ezer" means help. So, Ebenezer literally means “Stone of Help.” When Samuel raises this stone, he is physically marking a moment in history where the people of God recognize that everything good that has happened — every victory, every act of mercy — was because of the Lord’s help. It is not a monument to human achievement but a testament to God’s grace.
The Ebenezer stone was set up for the community, but it was meant to affect every individual heart. Each person in Israel could look at that stone and remember a personal moment of fear, repentance, or victory. In the same way, this anniversary is not just a church-wide celebration — it’s an invitation for every person to say, “God has helped me too — in my health, my marriage, my job, my faith, my pain.” It turns church history into personal testimony.
From Ebenezer to Expectation: Finally, the beauty of this verse lies in its direction. “Till now” doesn’t just look back; it propels us forward. It helps us look forward. If God has helped us till now, then we can trust Him for what’s next. The Ebenezer stone becomes a springboard of faith. It says: “If He did it before, He can do it again.” As our church looks to the next decade, this verse becomes a rallying cry — a reason to dream bigger, believe deeper, and surrender more fully, because God is not done yet and you get to be a part of this! Friends, please join us for this celebratory occasion on Sunday October 12th, beginning at 11am, at the Forward Church Irvine campus, as we gather together to give God glory for a decade of grace.
I can’t wait to celebrate and worship with you!
