There was a time when Fred and Casey were homeless and chasing the next fix.
Then they met Jesus, and Casey says it best: He was their fix.
Today, they are church planting missionaries at The Fix Chapel in Tappahannock, Virginia.
It’s a church for people in recovery, their families, and their neighbors.
So when @NoahOldham, VP of Send Network, asked Fred what he’d say to the Southern Baptists who give to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, the answer wasn’t about money.
It was about being held up by people he’s never even met.
That’s your giving at work. And 100% of it goes to the mission field.
For those of you who give and pray — THANK YOU!
Together, you gave $73.6 million through the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering to help make Jesus known across North America! 🙌
You helped put the gospel within reach of people who desperately need to hear it.
And behind every dollar is a story God is still writing. ⤵️
A baptism.
A first gospel conversation.
A new church.
A disciple making another disciple.
$73.6 million isn’t the end of the story.
It’s fuel for what comes next. 🙏
THANK YOU!
Mormon pioneers settled this region along the Snake River in the 1860s — more than a century before most evangelical churches arrived.
📍The Blackfoot, Idaho, metro area
✳️ 47,992 people and only 2.56% Evangelical Christian
This isn’t a secular city — it’s Mormon country,
and has been since the 1860s.
47,992 people — Only 13 Evangelical churches.
1 church for every 3,692 people.
❗Blackfoot needs church planters.

A student. A summer camp. A decision that will echo forever. 🙌
In Many Farms, Arizona, Billy Tallas is planting a church on the Navajo Nation. In just a few months, God is already moving. One student he’s been reaching came to a camp this summer and gave his life to Jesus. Since then, they have seen many more come to know Jesus and be baptized.
Southern Baptists— thank you for giving through the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. 100% of your gifts go to the mission field, which means a church plant is taking root in a small town where students are hearing the gospel.
Thank you for giving. Thank you for praying. Let’s keep going.
@StephenBeavers Hey Stephen, we are highlighting the 50 least evangelical areas according to this list linked below. Some of the areas are smaller than others.
https://t.co/z28KRAjzV9
Martha’s Vineyard, MA
Evangelical Percentage: 1.19 %
6 Churches for 20,600 people.
Only 245 Evangelical Christians.
The island’s modern identity as a wealthy, progressive, celebrity/tourist retreat reinforces a secular-leaning, low-urgency religious culture rather than a gospel-seeking one.
Martha’s Vineyard may not be
an easy place to plant a church,
but with 1 church for every 3,433 people
the need is urgent.

What a day at NAMB! 🎉
This morning in chapel, Noah Oldham, Vice President of @sendnetwork, hosted your Annie Armstrong Missionaries, Fred and Casey Weymouth.
We got to celebrate something incredible together: Southern Baptists gave $73.6 million to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering! 🙌🎉
Fred and Casey's story is one of the reasons we're so fired up. Years ago, they were addicted and living on the streets of Richmond, Virginia. Then, Jesus got hold of them, and something got rearranged on the inside. 📍Today, they lead The Fix in Tappahannock, Virginia, a church plant and recovery ministry where people are getting clean, meeting Jesus, and never looking back.
Think about that. A gift given in a church pew in one place is helping a couple of former addicts take hope to others. 🙏
"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine..." Ephesians 3:20
⛪️ To every church that gave and every Southern Baptist who prayed: thank you. This is your story too.
Here’s what it looks like to do God’s work the Devil’s way ⬇️
Choosing productivity > prayer.
Choosing a book > your Bible.
Or seeing people as attendees to retain > souls to shepherd.
Just because you are busy doing God’s work doesn’t mean you are doing it God’s way.
Don’t take the shortcut.
Start with this: “Jesus—what would honor You most?”

$286.1 MILLION given for the mission. 👏 Southern Baptists came together through $73.6M to Annie Armstrong and $212.5M to Lottie Moon to fuel church planting & global missions. ⛪️🌍 Every dollar represents lives reached with the hope of Jesus. Thank you for giving! Let's keep praying, giving, and sending. 🙏
21 baptisms. 6 decisions for Christ. 416 people gathered to hear the gospel. 🙌
Recently, Seasons Church officially launched in Beaumont, California!
After completing training through the LA @SendNetwork City Residency, Church Planter Troy Lanning began building his team. Following months of prayer and summer preview services, Seasons Church is officially a new congregation. ⛪
Because you give to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, stories like this are possible.
Your gifts train, equip, and send church planters like Troy Lanning into communities that need the hope of Christ. 🙏
Thank you for giving, praying, and believing in gospel multiplication. Praise God for what He is doing in LA!
A text is great, but a handwritten note of encouragement is something a pastor or planter can keep on their desk and re-read on the hard days. ✍️
Here are 4 ideas of what to write:
➡️ “I want to let you know how much your message on [Topic/Scripture] challenged me. Because of your faithful preaching, I am trusting God with...”
➡️ “Thank you for the quiet, unseen ways you shepherd our church family, from early morning prayers to late-night counseling. Your faithfulness doesn’t go unnoticed.”
➡️ “I deeply appreciate your integrity, humility, and genuine love for our community. Thank you (and your family) for the sacrifices you make to lead us.”
➡️ “I am praying for you and your family specifically this week. Asking God to give you [prayer request].”
Save this post, pick up a card, and drop a note of gratitude to your pastor or local church planter this #PastorAppreciationMonth! 🙏
📍Raymondville, TX, of Willacy County.
20,164 people — 5.2 % Evangelical Christian.
This area is 87% Hispanic,
has a median age of 32,
and is one of the poorest counties in Texas.
Raymondville needs a church-planting team
who speaks Spanish,
loves young people,
& is eager to serve the impoverished.

Your pastor needs ___________ too.
Church planters carry a unique weight.
They are shepherds, starters, speakers, servants — but they’re also human.
Your pastor needs community.
Your pastor needs prayer.
Your pastor needs rest, encouragement, and support.
Let this Pastor Appreciation Month be a reminder that your pastor needs Jesus and His church — not just in October, but all year long.
James 3 says...
“Consider how a small fire sets ablaze a large forest.
The tongue is a fire.”
The big explosions aren’t the threat.
It’s the small, careless words that start fires.
Consider Proverbs 15:4
“A gentle tongue is a tree of life.”
Many have turned social media into an arena for mocking their Christian brothers and sisters.
Let it be a place where we practice charity and self-control.
James 3:9-10 “With the tongue we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in God’s likeness. Blessing and cursing come out of the same mouth. My brothers and sisters, these things should not be this way.”

Preach with the aim of winning souls? Yes.
Preach difficult passages that challenge your context? Yes.
But preach pastorally — with great care for the individual souls in your flock.
