tmi pero kakagaling ko lang sa hosp cos my tita had a stroke and since wala siyang anak or asawa, kami ng mga pinsan ko ang nag-aasikaso.. and also given na wala siyang enough funds, they had to admit her sa public hosp (the same ER and hosp where my dad was pronounced DOA almost two years ago due to heart attack) 💔

apart from the fact that it brought back so many bad memories, it’s heartbreaking to see the situation of the patients there. it reflects how bad the healthcare system is in this country. NAKAKAGALIT. NAKAKAGIGIL. you see people manually pumping their relatives’ ambu bags kasi walang available na ventilator… ultimo oxygen tank may queueing??? then you remember these corrupt officials enjoying their lavish lifestyles while people are dying not bc their case is hopeless but bc the system that’s supposed to be keeping them alive is failing them.

I won't end this year pretending everything was fine. I lost a piece of myself this year that I will never get back, and I'm not forcing a smile as if it didn't change me. So no, I won't be saying “2026 is going to be my year”. I'll be praying that I recover next year, that my heart never has to break like this again, that I never have to survive something like this again. I'll be hoping for peace. Real peace, the kind that lets me breathe without fighting for it. I deserve a year that doesn't hurt.
