@PGAPappas@MotocaddyGolf@motocaddyusa@dboyza I own a M7 Remote. Not the drop in battery connection but cord. I love how it folds to fit in my trunk (VW Jetta) but how it performs is amazing. Truly like having a caddie that doesn't speak. I love to walk.
@acaseofthegolf1 Unfortunately that green sits somewhat low and has a saddle that holds snow and ice. It is too bad as the creek along the fairway makes it an interesting strategy hole.
@PGARulesGuy Allison Lee's caddie is wearing a compass on a lanyard around his neck. I thought Bryson got nicked for this years ago. Permitted in a major?
@USGA@uswomensopen how does Ronning Yin's caddie have a compass on his neck. The TV just showed it on #16. I thought a compass was against the rules of golf when Bryson was using one. Please explain.
@acaseofthegolf1 I have played there. They are old Ross greens. Lots of slope near the edges for drainage. High rough off of a small collar. Most amateurs would still be there tonight.
@benpearlgolf@divot332 When I started at the PGA Tour Superstore I was told we didn't do them. I asked why. No one can do it. I probably did over 100 irons in my 7 years there. I had the shaft plugs. We did charge a bit more but didn't turn them down.
@benpearlgolf Especially when it's a steel shaft. Cut the slots into a .370 shaft and cut at about 45° and finish all of it off. Finally learned that a scotch brite was a good finish for it as well.
