@StarlitSkyGW Notwithstanding, it's unacceptable to call it Communism. You have nothing remotely approaching Communism in the US - yet. You show it yourself over the vote. People can't vote in China. In other Communist countries they had a vote but it was meaningless.

@LynnCareySaylor @dollydemarco Sadly, I think such disasters will be repeated often, presenting unprecedented challenges for any leadership that exists in CA. And you're going to need help from the federal govt as each time it will be huge: climate change denial will ensure that it'll get even worse. 😱

@LynnCareySaylor @dollydemarco So glad to hear of success in putting out the fires. There seems to have been a lot of criticism of the handling of the situation, which has politicised people's misfortune in an unconstructive way. The wind has surely been a huge factor in the rapid spread?

@LynnCareySaylor Yes, they've sold their house. It's a really good home, but you pay for that! They tried another place out but didn't like it as much. My dad's nearly 96 & my stepmum 90 next year. Hope you can find some kind of solution as it's too much for one person to manage.
