@olsonplanner How you would handle as a resident being able to afford loans during residency (where every specialty is paid the same) if things like income driven repayment go away? Even on the super long extended 30 year plans you’re talking about roughly $20,000/yr on a 60k salary
@nickstrong But I’m not as familiar with baseball. I’ve been wondering how this will impact wrestling because we had plenty of guys (myself included) who were walk-ons but still got to utilize all of the departments resources from the start and I don’t know if that changes now
@nickstrong For baseball are the rosters set at 40 now from day 1 of the fall semester? Or do they still have the fall to cut players? I ask that because if you don’t have that spot available day 1 then do you not get the gear/dining hall/academic service associated with being on the team?
@gallardo_rachel Unpopular heavyweight opinion but I think just being able to control someone on top is worthy of a point! It may not be the most exciting wrestling but it’s pretty impressive to stop a grown ass man from getting an escape 😂
I took 3rd in all five conference tournaments I wrestled in during my college career. Some say that’s more impressive than first five times. #Grit#NoOneSaysThat
@goTgrS20@ChrisASchneider@MizzouAthletics Not at all! Us and Kentucky, which are the two furthest north. Turf is a lot cheaper to maintain but well kept grass is a better and safer surface to play on
@goTgrS20@ChrisASchneider@MizzouAthletics 12/14 SEC teams actually play on grass! It’s obviously harder to maintain but the benefits for grass over turf are substantial.
