the first time i was in the nuclear power plant in shadow of chernobyl i was hiding in a dim flickering corridor in an exo suit trying to regain health, hiding from the Monolithians. i left the keyboard to have a cigarette out my bedroom window as i waited an hour to heal

a good mindset to have if you've never played stalker before is to just remember: if you die it's 500% your fault one way or another. no exception. your fault. could've prevented that. don't forget to reload quick save rinse repeat.
