@chiyochanazu @SamSam2006_ @Wario64 Yeah re-played Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart on my 4080 PC and the extra graphic settings are amazing compared to PS5. PC and Nintendo could probably cover most today.

@chiyochanazu @SamSam2006_ @Wario64 Solid deal. I guess I’m slightly jaded towards the SW2. Was a day one purchase and MK: World and DK:Bananza were rushed and underwhelming especially for the elevated next gen retail prices. Haven’t sold my SW2 yet. Holding for Ocarina.

@chiyochanazu @SamSam2006_ @Wario64 💯 there are many games I would never play on a Nintendo console. But I have other options. I play mainly 2D and Indie games while traveling. Rarely use either Switch on the TV.

@chiyochanazu @SamSam2006_ @Wario64 Haven’t tried my Fire Emblem on mine yet. I did play about 60% of MP4 on my OLED while traveling and didn’t notice much issue. Finished on the SW2 with upgrade and again didn’t really see the value in said upgrade.

@chiyochanazu @SamSam2006_ @Wario64 For $200 you can get a used OLED SW1 and it plays 95% of what I want to play on a Nintendo platform. Now IF they hit this Ocarina remake out of the part for SW2 ill update my take on the $500 console.

@2stepwithsteve @8_Bit_Mario_ @Wario64 No it’s called an example and that game alone doesn’t justify the upgrade to SW2. I’m pointing out the exclusives on the new console don’t justify the extra $$$ for the upgrade at this point.

@IIDXrock @Wario64 Haha I like the cat cameo for dramatic effect. I’m 90% using my SW1 OLED for travel and handheld. Keep the SW2 for the TV and docked. I find huge value for $200 on a SW1 OLED I’m choosing that over the soon to be $500 option for SW2.

@ZuckAdam85819 @Wario64 I’ve played every SW2 exclusive thus far. Nothing warrants the upgrade, and the lack of physical games is a deal breaker going forward. Hopefully Ocarina remake has me reconsider SW2s future. IF not I’ll sell it and happily keep my SW1 OLED for anything on cart.

@8_Bit_Mario_ @Wario64 Did you play the end boss fight in DK Banaza? Game craws to 10-15 fps even while docked. Battery life for SW2 is awful. Maybe two hours in any SW2 exclusive game.
