When God wanted to make a king out of David, He didn’t hand him a crown—He handed him Goliath. The giant wasn’t a punishment; it was preparation. The very challenge that looked impossible was the doorway to David’s destiny. In the same way, the battles you face today are shaping you, strengthening you, and positioning you for what God has planned. Your challenges are not the end—they are the training ground for your purpose.
Prayer can trigger real spiritual warfare, even when we don’t see it.
In Daniel chapter 10, Daniel had been praying and fasting for 21 days.
During those 21 days, nothing seemed to happen. No answer. No sign. Silence.
But heaven was not silent.
What Was Happening in the Spirit Realm
After the 21 days, an angel finally appeared to Daniel and explained why the answer was delayed.
Daniel 10:12–13
This tells us something powerful:
Daniel’s prayer was answered the first day, but there was spiritual resistance.
The “prince of Persia” was not a human king—it was a spiritual power opposing God’s answer.
The Angel Had to Fight
The angel didn’t just deliver a message.
He had to fight through resistance to reach Daniel.
Daniel 10:20
This reveals that prayer can trigger real spiritual warfare, even when we don’t see it.
Daniel didn’t stop praying because nothing changed.
If he had quit on day 10… or day 15…
The answer would still have come—but he wouldn’t have been there to receive it.
This story teaches us, Delay is not denial. Keep praying, don’t give up.
Ruth walked into her new season with nothing but faith and loyalty—and God changed everything. She had no guarantees, no resources, and no clear future, yet she chose obedience over fear and trust over comfort. God honoured her faithfulness by opening doors she never imagined and positioning her for favour beyond her prayers. Ruth’s story reminds us that God does not require perfection—He responds to surrendered hearts. As you step into 2026, carry faith even if answers are not clear yet.
I'm in love with this quote: 'If it doesn't happen the way you wanted, it will happen in a better way than you imagined.' That's the beauty of God's plan.
i detach very fast. Anything i love extremely deeply I'm prepared to lose. It can break my heart but I have learned how to keep going. It can seem cold, but if it takes me off my pivot..l'll cut my finger off to save my hand. I can’t lose myself again, for anything. I'Il heal.
You’re not big enough or powerful enough to cancel out God’s plan for your life. He factored in human error when he set you on your path. Take comfort in that.
When Tasha Cobbs said “God will break you to position you, break you to promote you, and break you to put you in your right place. But when He breaks you He doesn't hurt you, when He breaks you He doesn't destroy you, He does it with GRACE!”🥹
