@ChrisGBarba Nah the stand your ground is gonna hold. She’s gonna be fine. Maybe catch a brandishing charge and yeah it’s over something dumb but she was def in the green
Nah man no other groups defend their position that they should be different on a core level from other Americans. It is quite literally creating division. Assimilation is the way. You can be assimilated and still keep some cultural traditions and such. It your core values and loyalties have to be American or Americans of all stripes will be right to see you as an outsider. Mamdani is American as hell and he’s clearly an American more than he is any other aspect of his identity, aside from maybe specifically a New Yorker.
Unironically, even if you hate your landlord this is terrible advice. You will 100% go to jail if you do methodical damage this significant and quantifiable. Just stop paying if you’re so angry. Evictions take a long time and are far far far more costly to the landlord than the tenant
@DarkTylenol@deadendcyber Most gun people I’ve seen are taking her side. She could probably catch a brandishing charge depending on the state but that’s about it
Sure and that like, seems fair. Affordable even. I’m sure with maintenance costs that’s not egregious. I personally detest energy costs the most. I think people are just averse to any time the profit margin from the provision of an essential is greater than other essentials, or the cost of living etc. food for example is a very narrow business.
@robbiehendricks@credealjunkie@imfat I mean to be fair you literally are a landlord you have quite the dog in this fight. Don’t know what your margins are they could be fair but they could also be these very punishing algorithmically price fixed rates that everyone has heard about.
Like I’m personally tired of people treating me like I’m a bigot by pointing out that there is a difference between various waves of migration and their outcomes, or when I say recent African migrants don’t have the same claim of mistreatment that like, the descendants of slaves do
@HistoryBoomer 1 in 6 Irish who came during the civil war served in the the civil war. 1/10th of the Union army was Irish born. Almost 90% were gainfully employed or enlisted within the year they arrived. Men and women both
