Two weeks before Christmas last year, I got a mystery ups delivery notification to be delivered on a Fri that I thought was a Christmas gift from my work. Turned out it was my last paycheck and I was surprised fired! 😂

Before I was asked to write the foreword to @monteiro's Design is a Job, the Necessary Second Edition... I was a major pusher of the first one to all my designer friends. So much so that I lost my copy of the first edition long ago. I wasn't even mad about it.

One of the perks of my job as President is chatting with students or transplants who reach out to me. Sometimes, my job in these convos is just existing and validating their experiences. Just to talk to someone that looks like me. I love to build up these future leaders.
