Some stories were made more colorful than they actually were- especially in Genesis. We know even Shakespeare had his hand in the translation. Despite that the Bible is the most accurate history book we have. The people and kingdoms mentioned are still here today. Faith is evidence of things not seen. I have faith, but I also have knowledge, and if you really studied the book you could see how these kingdoms were formed and how they will fall. I’ve known WWIII would start with Iran for at least 10 years now, because the Bible said it would. You just don’t understand the book
