I pass the “happy can” around every day during homeroom for students to leave a note in. Some from this week were just too good not to share!!! @MpMiddle
First week highlights!!! Choose your own camping adventure, our first quarter trio challenge winners, and some new student-made decorations for my room! ❤️ @7thGradeMPMS@MpMiddle
A5: I make it clear from day one to Ss that my room is a space for learning and growing only!! Again, empathy is what it’s all about. I constantly remind them that I’m there to listen and not judge. #mpcschat
A4: I teach Ss the word empathy at the beginning of the year and then continue to discuss it whenever possible! I try to model/teach that they need to practice empathy in difficult situations. #mpcschat
A2: I feel that I can always use more information and tools on how to have difficult conversations in the classroom with students. These teachable moments are the most important! #mpcschat
A1: MP’s Exp. of Excellence represents a high standard of inclusivity in every aspect of the word! Our kids deserve an informed/reflective environment that constantly has their backs! #mpcschat
Join me (@MissDFoley) TONIGHT for #mpcschat. We will be discussing Difficult but Important Discussions: Diversity and Inclusion for All Peoples. See you all at 7:30PM!
