A thank you to everyone that continues to make this possible.
I do The Island every year as a passion project. I don't earn a single penny.
If you enjoy it, and I hope that you do, please share with your friends.
We're on to 2027!

@mattstdream I am now fully on the "Philly wants a first? Fine. They can keep him" train. Not interested in overpaying for an aging WR with diva history.
Diggs got traded with a 5 and 6 for a 2nd. Coming off a 107rec, 1183yd, 8TD year.
AJB had 78rec, 1003yds, and 7TDs last year.
No thanks
@Savageboston Tbh, the smells of regret, rather than him actually failing a legitimate physical.
Hendrickson is still out there with no picks traded and for less money.
Baltimore signs Hendrickson. I’d bet on that
@DougKyed Honestly, I don't have issues with them not overextending and overpaying guys. Pierce (reportedly) turned down more than 30/yr from NE to return to Indy. I think they missed on a few that were gettable, but I'm fine with avoiding the "bad teams overpay" thing.
@pfwpaul I think the Achillies from last year worries me more than the triceps injuries. From all the stuff I'm reading, triceps that are surgically repaired aren't likely to reinjure. That Achillies will be something to watch though
@Savageboston@AdamSchefter The people who are talking about the injuries aren't entirely wrong, but triceps injuries aren't in that "highly likely to reoccur" category. The torn achillies from last year is worrying, but he should be healed up by now.
@DougKyed Tough to see a guy like him go, especially when he's a good locker room presence and was productive before the injury.
Hope he lands somewhere and carves out a role there.
@PFF Gonzalez at 95?
According to your stats
Lowest missed tackle rate among starting corners (1.2%)
Lowest completion rate (43.4%)
Of CBs with 100 or more targets (Gonzo, Moss, Wiggins) - only one with <50 receptions, <500yds, and >65 coverage rating.
Sure.
@SavageSports_ Gonzo had lowest comp. percent in the league (43.4%). Only Dean (of the 6 ahead of him so far) allowed less than 50% (45.5%). Gonzo was 1 of 3 CBs with more than 100 targets, and the only one to allow less than 50 rec, less than 500yds, and be rated above 65 in coverage.
Bonkers
@_AndrewCallahan I wouldn't say "exceeded expectations" considering he was a top 5 pick. He was bad in the playoffs, not just rookie OT bad, though he was facing top tier defenses.
That said, I do think you probably give him an offseason to develop and see where you land before next draft.
