NATIONWIDE BANK STRIKE POSTPONED! 🇮🇳
The 3-day nationwide bank strike scheduled to begin tomorrow has been postponed/cancelled following internal discussions between the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) and the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU).
They have no idea who they are messing with. Himanta mama in Assam is someone else. Its his ground and they will pay for taking a fight with him on his home ground.
I received a representation from Shri Nagesh Salunkhe, State Head of the @NCPspeaks Tax Practitioners Cell, Maharashtra, highlighting the difficulties faced by taxpayers and tax professionals in completing tax audits within the current deadline. With the income tax return deadlines of 31 July and 31 August having already passed, the time available until 30 September is considered inadequate for completing tax audits that involve detailed verification, scrutiny and reconciliation.
For Assessment Year 2026-27, tax audit reports are due on 30 September. Chartered accountants, tax consultants and taxpayers are under pressure due to GST and TDS work, difficulties with the income tax portal, recent festivals and the proposed nationwide bank strike from 28 to 30 September.
I urge Hon. Nirmala Sitharaman Ji to extend the deadline for submitting tax audit reports, along with the corresponding deadline for filing income tax returns in audit cases. This would provide much-needed relief to taxpayers and allow the work to be completed accurately.

ICAI has advised members to plan statutory compliances in advance as banks may remain affected by the proposed strike from 28 to 30 September 2026.
So, while we wait for the much awaited tax audit extension, CAs are advised to arrange bank documents, confirmations and client information in advance to avoid last minute hurdles in completing audits and AGMs
imo, Delhi will release him one day soon not because of some pressure but because of backroom deals we will never hear about. We have to understand this and inform the public too as it will be made into Modi is US agent, India is weak etc.
Also, I would like to iterate this again - Bangladesh or Myanmar or NE insurgency are being run by the USDS compromised by the GLISCO network influenced by China.
This is something most people aren't getting and associate any such actions against India directly to Trump, Canada PM, UK govt etc.
For example, the attacks on Adani from the US and the DS were against US long term interests and in the interests of China. Anti-Farm reforms protests organized from US/Canada were anti-US/Canada interests (who have long been crying for India to open up the farm sector) and in favor of China (with whom India would directly compete worldwide if reforms were done.)
