🚀 Understanding Anoma's Intent-Centric Tech
Everyone's talking about @anoma but most people still don't get what "intent-centric" actually means. In this post, I'll break it down with real-world examples as simply as I can.
Note: If I've gotten anything wrong here, please correct me in the comments. I'm still learning about this! 🤝
⚠️ The Problem with Current Blockchains
Here's the thing: you have to tell blockchains EXACTLY what to do, step by step.
🔹"Send 1 ETH to this address"
🔹"Swap ETH for USDC on Uniswap pool X"
🔹"Vote YES on proposal #42"
It’s like giving GPS turn-by-turn directions instead of just saying "take me to the airport" ✈️
🔄 The Intent-Centric Revolution
Anoma is a new kind of setup for building decentralized apps, and the main thing that makes it different is how it handles "intents." Anoma is NOT another blockchain, it's a distributed operating system that unifies existing blockchains into one development environment.
Instead of making you manage every single step, you just say what you want:
🔹"I want the best ETH to SOL rate possible"
🔹"Find me the cheapest governance tokens under $10"
🔹"I need private asset transfers"
The system figures out the best way to do it, using lots of “solvers” competing to get you the result.
You just focus on the end goal, not the process. 🎯
🛠️ How Anoma Actually Works
Anoma is powered by the Intent Machine (IM), kind of like how Ethereum has the EVM, the IM processes “intents” into state changes.
It has two main pieces:
1⃣ Typhon: The P2P network, mempool, consensus layer
2⃣ Taiga: The stateless execution environment, providing privacy for both data and functions
The flow:
1⃣ You submit an intent (what you want to achieve)
2⃣ Gossip network propagates your intent privately
3⃣ Solvers compete through a decentralized network to find the best execution
4⃣ Best solution wins and executes atomically
5⃣ Settlement happens, all can be fully private
Taiga provides fully shielded, multi-party state transitions, hiding the app type, data, and who’s involved. That’s the “privacy magic” 🥷
🕵️♂️ Privacy & Counterparty Discovery
Here’s what makes Anoma special:
You can match intents with others privately.
No one can front-run you, and your identity/strategy are protected.
This means:
🕶️ Private trading without MEV attacks
🏛️ DAOs or groups can make secret strategic moves
🤝 Multi-party deals can settle all at once, with full privacy
🔥 Real Applications (What Anoma Can Do)
Here’s what Anoma is making possible right now (or is very close to):
🔄 Multi-Asset Bartering: Trade different tokens or assets between lots of people at once. No need to do many separate swaps but just one big, private deal.
🔒 Private Auctions: Place bids without anyone knowing how much you offered or even who you are. (The feature that hides rules and bidders’ info is coming soon!)
🌉 Cross-chain Coordination: Do a trade or action that works across multiple blockchains at the same time, in one go.
🛡️ Shielded DeFi: Use finance apps where both what you’re doing and what tokens you’re using are hidden, full privacy.
🌟 Why This Matters for Users
With current blockchains, you have to understand stuff like liquidity pools, gas, bots, and bridging. With intent-centric systems, you just say your goal, the system handles all the mess. 🧹
Anoma unifies blockchains into one development environment, ending fragmentation for both users and developers.
This isn’t just better UX, it could unlock new kinds of private, simple apps that just weren’t possible before. 🔓✨
Projects built on this kind of tech could have big advantages:
✅ Way easier to use
✅ Privacy built in
✅ Works across blockchains by default
✅ Access to bigger, more private liquidity
Note: This is still new tech, and there’s still lots to build and test. 🏗️
💭 I’m still learning about Anoma myself, so feel free to correct me if I’ve made any mistakes. I’d love to hear your thoughts, especially if you’ve tried Anoma or are building with it! Let’s discuss in the comments.

This is the Claim contract: 0xC0DEB405dd405Ee54F2Fc24E8E3DB5D417001631
Only few people are claiming currently (check on etherscan)
What interesting is all of them are using a Merkle Proof with 14 hashes while everyone else have a Merkle Proof with 15 hashes. Also those who uses that 15 hashes proof, their TX gets failed with 'UDrop_InvalidProof ()'
here are some proof:
Successful claims with 14 hashes proofs:

Failed with 15 hashes proof:
How are those people gets correct proof, when everyone else gets incorrect ones?
