Tomorrow is the pinnacle of the 2026 season. Either we upset the Seahawks bc the offense finally clicks ( D is solid) or we lose and the Seasons trajectory falls into perpetual free fall and we might as well tank for Jeremiah smith.

@Chargers4life89 @RBtheBlaxican It’s very apparent he is explosive/ physically gifted but isn’t an elite route runner and loses concentration on the ball wether it’s because he’s afraid of getting drilled or thinking about what move he’s gonna make. Regardless he isn’t a 1 and should be treated as a gadget guy

@matushka1976 I think the Ladd injury and him being on and off the field the last 2 games plays into this as well. But I think McDaniels needs to be able to game plan without Ladd. Thats what an elite OC like he is supposed to be does.

@RBtheBlaxican Herb has had like 5 OCs in 7 years. Always been a guy that hits who’s open already. Never been in this type of offense. I think it’s a combination of learning a new offense and one that you have to throw before the guy is open. It’s been 3 games I think he’ll master it eventually

@matushka1976 @krauss1kyle Yeah that’s what I was saying as soon as he finished his drop he should’ve followed through and let it rip, MVS was just getting past the Lb. I trust that Herb can master it. Hes always operated in waiting for the wr to get open. Just taking a second to get adjusted.

@cmsinclair I think MM getting a better feel for the players will help as the season goes on, as well as Herb figuring out the offense. However I think the biggest difference especially rn is we need the blockers to block and not whiff, and the WRs to run the right routes and catch.
