The Daily Mail is gonna have an aneurysm about this Idles set, they got the crowd to shout “fuck the king” called Farage a fascist, had a prop of kids in a small boat crowdsurfing during a pro immigration song and ended by shouting ceasefire now. Fucking legends.

I will never understand attempts to discredit TLOU2 specifically because story events made people angry. Dislike whatever you please, but to suggest a story is ~objectively bad~ because it intentionally made you feel a strong emotion feels… contradictory.
Time for what's become my only tweet (?) of the year: My favourite albums of 2023. I feel that 2023 has lacked a wealth of outstanding work, but overall, there have been enough "very good" releases to see us through to 2024. These are the albums that I enjoyed the most this year.
RIP Legend. On a local level, DJ Deeon was the glue between Chicago and Detroit in many ways. His music soundtracked a million and one club nights, raves, and radio shows and felt like it always existed. Profane, high-powered, Jack-enhanced, Juke-enabled, sublime American music.
A final thought: however difficult the last few days have been, it simply doesn’t compare to having to flee your home from persecution or war to seek refuge in a land far away. It’s heartwarming to have seen the empathy towards their plight from so many of you. 3/4
