Goya Gumbani (@Goyagumbani) returns to Ghostly with Bean Pie, a fast-hitting 5-track EP featuring disparate ideas, expressions, and snapshots in time, crossed in the same pot. Co-produced by Joe Armon-Jones, Franky Bones, Blk Deco, and Velveshun. Link in bio.
In 2007, Daso Franke released a 12" for Ghostly's Spectral Sound. The A-side, "Meine," was an 8-minute ascent that delighted clubs worldwide. In April of 2018, Franke passed away after a long bout with cancer.
Earlier this year, @residentadvisor called "Meine" one of the best songs of the century. As the feature recalls, "In the final moments of his life, Daso's friends played 'Meine' from a stereo in the corner of his hospital room."
In response to fan demand and high Discogs prices, we're bringing the EP back again on clear vinyl to honor Daso's musical legacy. Link in bio.
LA duo Green-House create imaginative, evocative, spellbinding music. "Hinterlands," their first album for @ghostly, combines the ambient bliss of new age with a wide-ranging series of genre influences.
