Even if the original story doesn't happen, the project's story elements will probably be molded into existing SW projects like the Rey movie (assuming it's still development) or the Kinberg trilogy. It will all be up to the new leadership at Disney to decide on that

@kingdjarins Idk, majority didn't see the pair as romantic tbh. The most common argument is that they shared a sibling like relationship. A part of that reason is because they ship other ships like Reylo and Finnpoe. I'm personally not a big shipper tbh 👍

If they tried it with Palpatine, they will most likely try it again especially since the new leadership ship at Disney clarified as much. They have in fact pulled the uni reversal resurrection card multiple times in SW.

@laulanieida @1_800_BEN_SOLO But on the serious note, they probably will again because Palpatine had a big case not to return in the first place and the controversy around his death wasn't really the idea that he returned somehow but the execution so I wouldn't be surprised if they did this again.
