AC did not work while stationary on the ground. Even during flight, it wasnt as cold as other airlines

Discovered something surprising while planning a trip to Bihar

Patna is probably the worst state capital in terms of branded hotels, except for maybe the North East

A Taj opened 2 years ago and the only other chain hotel is a Lemon Tree !

Ranchi/Raipur have better hotels !

I was Marriott’s Ambassador Elite — their highest rewards tier.

My wife was sexually harassed at their hotel in Doha.

When I complained, the hotel had me prosecuted. I was jailed, deported, banned for five years. I lost my job.

Marriott now say the claims were “not substantiated by the available evidence.”

This man claims his 2 bags of 10kg and 4kg bags were within the cabin baggage allowance

Cabin baggage allowance is "1 cabin bag upto 7kg" across all airlines

My cabin trolley weighed 10 kg and my laptop bag 4 kg — well within the 15 kg cabin allowance. Yet I was forced to check in my bag.

The issue was clearly not weight but selective enforcement. After I requested to keep my cabin bag (as it had fragile items), the staff member marked my seat as “overweight baggage” in the system even after weighing at counter also which came to 10 kg.

At the boarding gate I was stopped, a weighing machine was brought checked again at boarding gate and my bag was taken for check-in.

What made it worse — right in front of me many passengers were carrying 3 items (trolley + laptop bag + hand bag) without any issue.

If it is a rule, it should apply to everyone equally. Why was only my bag measured and tagged?

Base village is Bedisgaon near Vangani (2 hrs from Mumbai)

Best to take a guide from the village, as there are a few crisscrossing trails on the mountain
Route is 80% forested, so there is protection from the sun. We took 2 hrs to climb with lots of halts

Hike to Nakhind on the last weekend of Feb

It is a technically simple, but physically draining hike, since it has an almost continuous climb from base village to the top

The attraction is the Nedhe (needle hole) - a naturally formed hole at the top of the ridge
