Gas prices skyrocketed in the US because of Trump's ill-conceived and unnecessary war against Iran.

He is now trying to correct for his mistake by paying a brutal, imperialist Russian dictator billions of dollars.

As a result, more Ukrainians will die.

Trump's bet is that Americans care more about their gas prices than they do about people in Ukraine or America's reputation in the world. That Americans are just as transactional and immoral as Trump is.

Just as Ukraine was changing the direction of the war by inflicting real economic pain on Putin by hitting his oil refineries, Trump steps in and agrees to buy Russian diesel. Now Trump can say that Ukraine is bombing American interests and they better stop.
