okay not only can we program utxos now

but we can program them in composable ways

see the minter and the cat20 contracts are different contracts

the minter contract emits cat20 contracts

minter v1 had some wonky effects at the end of a mint

minter v2 just launched and addresses them

nobody had to update any trackers

all the websites still showed balances

cat protocol makes good minters, but we can actually edit them and change the rules ourselves

for ex. maybe we make the minter mine a POW solution before minting

still shows up in all trackers w/o them updating code

this is the benefit of just putting the code on bitcoin

But the way they work is difficult to reason about

Far more of a negative than you think

@blakeknock @Gaze_Network @fractal_bitcoin @unisat_wallet It does merge the unconfirmed data from 2 chains by putting the “hash” of Fractal block into the coinbase tx of the Bitcoin block, then it starts mining the Bitcoin block.

Therefore it mines two chains at once, as the mined block can be submitted as proof for either chain.

AI on the blockchain is easily the most hilarious incarnation of crypto. Just manifestly ridiculous.

Running a model involves a lot of computation, a lot of data, and queries that should be kept private.

If you want to run these in a distributed way, you're going to have to run that computation multiple times, store the data in multiplying places, and send those private queries to multiple entities, all of which multiply costs and multiply the number of entities that learn the query.

If you want to make this private, you have do some kind of crazy homomorphic encryption on the query and computation, which probably leads to an exponential increase in cost.

If someone is trying to sell you an AI token, you should tell them to get fucked.
