Truth bomb‼️
This man should be the one speaking on college campuses.
“They’re planning for us to turn on each other and make this culture war a civil war. I am begging you, please, for the love of God, for the love of our neighbors… do not take the bait.”
Watch…
@BagdMilkSoWhat @POTUS@realDonaldTrump Real talk: like him, hate him or love him… one thing is true what you think about yourself impacts your life. President Trump is a perfect example. His belief in himself has got him where he is today. His belief is strong enough to beat out truth & facts.
It’s incredibly frustrating to watch, honestly. As foreigners, we can see the potential fallout from the U.S.'s plans, but it feels like no one’s listening. Cutting ties with Canada and imposing tariffs on countries that doesn’t manufacture on U.S. soil to encourage Americans to manufacture locally might sound like a good idea in theory—to protect local jobs and strengthen the U.S. manufacturing industry—but the reality is it could lead to an economic disaster. The cost of YOUR (American citizens) everyday goods would rise dramatically, businesses that depend on global supply chains would be crippled, and many American consumers would bear the brunt of these decisions.
What’s even more concerning is that this kind of isolationist approach could trigger trade wars and retaliatory tariffs. Other countries won’t just sit back—they’ll fight back. The U.S. could quickly find itself shut out of key markets, and its industries could suffer as a result. You can’t just cut ties with the world and expect everything to work out smoothly. Retaliation is inevitable, and it won’t be long before a world leader, driven by their own interests, strikes back, potentially crippling the U.S. in global trade.
We all want to see the U.S. thrive, but sometimes it feels like the economic consequences of these policies aren’t being fully understood. If the focus stays on short-term gains at the expense of long-term stability, it’s the ordinary citizens who will feel the pain the most. It’s hard to watch because we can see what’s coming, but it seems like the message just isn’t getting through.
Americans, consider this: What if all of us, foreigners to you, had governments that imposed tariffs on your country? What if all your exports m weaken in value because your manufacturing industry was crippled by a fragile domestic economy—the cost of your raw materials and labour being triple compared to the global market’s major suppliers— production costs so high that your own citizens couldn’t even afford your own products? Who, exactly, are you exporting to then?
You’d be cut off from world trade.
To everyone who stayed up late, woke up early, gave up their Sunday afternoon… we are incredibly sorry that the Love is Blind Live Reunion did not turn out as we had planned. We're filming it now and we'll have it on Netflix as soon as humanly possible. Again, thank you and sorry.
If I ever have to give an example of an epic fail, I will use #Netflix when they advertised for a Live show for the Love is Blind finale but @netflix went bust when it was time to tune in…
