Ayoade Ojeniyi wrote about the owner of Kunle Ara Pharmacy:
Kunle Ara Pharmacy Lagos Street in Maiduguri used to be one of our small clients in Maiduguri. The man went to serve in Maiduguri. He read Pharmacy. After his service, he started practice before you know what was happening he has expanded. He added exclusive Supermarket services, very rare high quality products eg I bought my children toy bicycles from there. He later opened a branch in Ibadan. This guy is committed to doing proper Financial Statements and paying Taxation.
We called him Kunle Ara(dodo) but he called himself Kunle Ara(rm) while we were in Maiduguri.
Unfortunately, Boko Haram terrorists drove him away from Maiduguri in 2009 and he came to concentrate on the Ibadan Branch which has now expanded even to Lagos . I have lost contact with him but I am sure that he will read this my post. He is very humble and he respected his auditors. He would be looking for and asking after his Financial Statements. This man loves to comply with the laws of the land.
He just opened the Yemetu Branch. While in Maiduguri his price was the cheapest and he would go to any length to have ORIGINAL products.
Abiola Adekunle is the key principal and owner of Kunle-Ara Pharm. Ltd (operating as Kunle Ara Pharmacy), a prominent pharmacy based in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. The pharmacy, known for its extensive, well-organized superstore and pharmaceutical supplies, is located at Harboni Compound, Opposite UCH, Queen Elizabeth.
WHEN RISING TOO EARLY MAY BE A CURSE
Just thinking about it now - At the dawn of this 4th republic, there were certain men, young politicians, emerging leaders that carried great promise and promised significant strides in politics. Tender palms in the grove, standing taller than their age, carrying on their shoulders the weight of tomorrow.
But --- But -- that later retired into obscurity too early and their lights dimmed before it could fully blossom.
While still alive, they became echoes of abandoned possibilities, faded portraits of destinies interrupted and a pale reflection of a reality that never was.
And most memorable of them was former Speaker DIMEJI BANKOLE.
Baba Dimeji was the model of aspirations for all young men that nursed the possibility of a life in politics. He was the most defining indicator that the young have a place in the leadership configuration of this nation. Mr. Bankole by all standards was the best it could get for any young man of that era and perhaps even now...
Sabur Dimeji Bankole became Speaker of the House of Representatives at only 37 years old, even today, men will go to war to occupy that revered seat at 70. He is the youngest in Nigeria's history to occupy that office. History bent its knee before uncommon youth.
But then, what happened?
How does a star that rose so swiftly lose its place in the firmament before noon?
Is politics like the iroko tree, where he who climbs too fast risks missing his step and breaking his neck?
Is early ascension sometimes less a blessing than a beautifully wrapped burden?
Which other politician do you think also fits this narrative?
Good Morning Severally...
