@liveinwife First grade teacher of twelve years. Go all the way up to the principal!! Demand justice for your kid. She should feel safe in her classroom and the language of the other children is harmful, aggressive and incredibly inappropriate for the age group.

@MrsWifeyLife On the flip side I teach first grade and have had students over the years that started kinder at 6 and they definitely had an edge with maturity and self control. Not a single parent regretted their choice! My mom’s aunt was a fifth grade teacher and delayed k for all 3 kids.

@MrsWifeyLife I have the same birthday as G and graduated HS on my 18th birthday. I had minor struggles (pencil grip) until the start of second grade then had no issue! Plenty of kids younger than me in my grade and was never the youngest.
