Excellent news for you today 😍 We're delighted to be able to announce a three-year sponsorship deal for the Revival with Cask 88 (do give them a follow at @88Cask), starting with next weekend's non-spectator event at the temporary replacement venue of Forrestburn.
If you missed this year's Revival, there's a healthy entry of classics (and moderns) at Doune - just outside Buchany, postcode FK16 6HD - this weekend. Events on Saturday and Sunday. Taster of forthcoming awesomeness in this video: https://t.co/dsflcOUvj5
Sunday theme: kindly face of Good Samaritan, and imagined townscape with crow-stepped gables, as depicted by artist of 1550s in 'Parable' Room of Kinneil House - originally Presence Chamber of James Hamilton, Duke of Châtellerault, former Regent to his cousin Mary Queen of Scots
Congratulations to Andrew Paterson for adding two more outright @88Cask Revival hillclimb wins to his considerable collection at the weekend, followed closely on each occasion by John Albiston.

@BonessRevival at the weekend.
Though a smaller event than usual there were plenty of amazing cars and speedy times on the track. We had some great chats about whisky with many attendees.
Looking forward to next year, when the event is even bigger and better.
We're getting many enquiries about our events at #Christmas time. We're as busy as Santa Claus' Elves, working away in the background, on our plans and what we will be able to offer. Keep an eye on our website here https://t.co/6HMCeAFbtG for future news.

The label features Colin McLachlan's wonderful Austin 7 Special, known as the Moose, which has been delighting spectators at Revival meetings since Colin first brought it out in 2018.
If you don't know Forrestburn, here's a view from on board Bo'ness Revival regular Angus Buchan's ex-Chris Cramer Terrapin Mk5 SR https://t.co/hvUWpCQ3d6
This year's Revival will take place on September 4/5😃 but (for COVID-related reasons) it will be held at Forrestburn and will not be open to spectators🙁If you have a suitable vehicle and would like to compete, here's the entry form: https://t.co/9vsRtggHG9
On This Day... In 1959, future double @F1 World Champion Jim Clark set FTD @BonessRevival hillclimb. Driving the Border Reivers entered Lister-Jaguar 'Flat-Iron', Clark set a time of 34.1 seconds for the win. He also drove a Porsche 356 and a Lotus Elite at the event. #OnThisDay
On This Day... In 1951, champ-to-be Ken Wharton set the fastest two times during the BHC round @BonessRevival in two different cars. He recorded 34.60s in his 1.0-litre Cooper and 34.97s in ERA R11B, finishing over 1sec clear of Sydney Allard. #OnThisDay#SpeedHillclimb
@Speed_Hillclimb That was the only sub-30 run in a car at a pre-Revival event. (A motorcycle also achieved this in the 1930s, but on a shorter course.)
