Captivity survivor Rom Braslavski was informed by IDF representatives that the terrorist who held him captive in Gaza had been eliminated.

Rom’s response said everything:
“You eliminated the man who did the most evil.”

During the call, IDF representatives told Rom that they had been hunting the terrorist since the beginning of the war and “never let up for a single moment.” They explained that over the past few weeks, they finally managed to close in on him and worked intensively to settle the score.

Rom was overwhelmed. He asked if it was 100% confirmed, pulled over to the side of the road, and broke down in tears.

The representatives told him this is what they do every day: wake up every morning to make sure the terrorists who carried out these crimes pay for what they did.

Rom thanked them for calling and said the terrorist “deserved it.” He described him as “the head of it all” and “the head of the snake.”

When Rom said he had often wondered whether the terrorist was still eating, drinking, and living, one of the representatives answered:
“Not anymore.”

Rom’s answer:
“Wow… that’s wonderful to hear. I’m so happy.”
