Attended an amazing workshop on the Unceded Algonquin Territory of Algonquin Provincial Park today about Birch Bark Canoe Building. Incredible to see this celebration of Indigenous knowledge. The attendance was phenomenal! #TruthAndReconciliation #algonquinpark @algonquinoutfit

Other issues to address in out Official Plan: economic diversification, waterfront development, servicing policies, hazard lands (slope stability, flood risk, not building in hazard lands)

Climate change and Indigenous recognition are mandated to be discussed in all new Official Plans for all municipalities. Very good!
